The fundraiser was great!! We were, in fact, able to pay the rent today!!! So “Pay the Rent Event #3“= success!! Hooray!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone! I went on tv and I didn’t die or throw up from nerves (believe me, I got close!). I haven’t seen the tape yet though so it may still be pretty embarrassing…

I want to say thank you to our artists and designers for letting us show their work.
I also want to say thank you to our models, Ashley, Rachquel, and Phylicia who got up pretty darn early for us today.

People who saw the show and are interested in the styles we featured: stay tuned! we’ll be uploading them into our webshop this week. You can also come in to the shop and see what else we have to offer. Again, the trends here at Mew Gallery are about finding one-of-a-kind and affordable pieces to really make you stand out. The styles featured on tv were just a really small selection of all the wonderful hand-crafted items we have here at 906 Christian Street!

But we wanted you to know that since this website is set up like a blog, we’re gonna treat it as one.  We’ll continue to post about our upcoming shows, events, and special stuff as usual.  We’ve decided, though, that this blog needs to be a BLOG.  Stay tuned for frequent posts about local happenings, general news and events, the trials and tribulations of running a small  arts-based business, and  just general  daily goings on here.  We have some pretty funny stories to share and figured we’d share it all with you, the magical internet.  Because, why the heck not?
