a bit more about the artists:

Photos by David Dworanczyk

While studying music at Rutgers University - Camden in New Jersey, David Dworanczyk took a trip to Europe to research composers of classical music. While on that trip, he discovered a love for another art form, black and white photography. In this art, David was able to capture slices of life that seem to pass by others in this fast-paced world in which we all live. David has attended The Santa Fe Workshop in Santa Fe, New Mexico, studying with acclaimed photographer, Tony O’Brien. David’s photographs have had numerous showings, including exhibits at Bauhaus Gallery, Vox Populi Gallery, and other past shows with Dissentia Curatorial Services. David currently resides in Philadelphia and is a drummer in three local musical acts.preview some work here and here

Paintings by Salihah Moore

Being a folk or self-taught artist, Salihah Moore strives to create a new mythology incorporating inspirations from indigenous art and her own ideas of societal evolution. Whales and faceless beasts, a strange written language, flying machines and images emerging from a fog, her art stimulates the unseen realms surrounding us. Using primarily watercolor and ink, Salihah’s art is simple, encouraging the audience to create their own fable. Studying at Bennington College for two years, Salihah “majored” in mysticism and science through picture books. She transferred to Temple University where she studied Biological Anthropology. Residing in West Philadelphia, Salihah sews hand painted bags, wallets and stuffed creatures for her suitcase shop called “Lion of the Sea.”
